Chinese New Year Celebrations

The whole school celebrated Chinese New Year today starting with good wishes in morning assembly, with the correct pronounciation provided by Janice Tang and the celebrations continued into lunch time with a delicious feast served in a specially decorated dining hall.

2012 is the Year of the Dragon and according to Chinese culture, the dragon is the most auspicious and powerful animal in the Chinese zodiac, which is also associated with prosperity.
