Medical Care

The School Medical Officer, who runs a practice in nearby Sherborne, holds regular surgeries at the School. All new pupils receive thorough medical examinations on arrival. Every endeavour is made to bring vaccinations and immunisations up to date should parents so request.

Routine check ups are made by a local Dental Practice and arrangements are made for visits to a local optician where necessary.

Matrons, who are qualified in first aid, are on site 24 hours. They deal with minor injuries and ailments and dispense over the counter and prescription medicines.

The school also employs a part-time Counsellor.
